Help with starting Accounting Project..All suggestions welcome..?

I have to complete a paper..and here is what our teacher basically want us to do:

Special Project: Students will choose a publicly held manufacturing company and analyze the financial data from the annual report to determine if this company would be a good buy for a prospective investor looking to start a college fund for the their six year old child. The information will be submitted in a report form.

How would I go about writing this report?? I know I should make an outline first..but for example, should I compare this with another company for my project…or just tell how the company is basically improving and where its at financially right now…?

ANYONE CAN HELP ME..I JUST NEED SOME CREATIVE SUGGESTIONS…THANKS! IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU AREN’T A BUSINESS MAJOR..

I have to complete a paper..and here is what our teacher basically want us to do:
